    Default Wiring help

I am going to be following this wiring diagram but i wanted to make a change to it. I would like to if possible make the first tone control the neck and middle pickups and the second only the bridge. What changes would i have to make to this diagram.

    1) Shift the wire from the lower tone pot one terminal towards the "wiper" contact.
    2) Make a jumper connection between the neck PU tone control contact and the recently vacated centre PU tone control contact.

Make the connections on the push-pull pot exactly as they appear in the schematic. The push-pull pot is for coil-tapping one coil of the bridge PU. It has nothing to do with the tone controls.

Personally, I would not bother with the jumper connection mentioned above. Just have tone controls for bridge and neck PUs.

So the diagram is for neck and Bridge tone controls. Or neck and middle?

The original SD diagram is for individual neck and centre tone controls - the traditional vintage Fender circuitry.

ok thanks but im totally new to this stuff and don't understand what changes i should make could you try and make it as simple as possible. Im completely confused on step one. i have no idea what the lower tone pot one terminal is or the wiper contact. As for step two don't know what a jumper connection is. And by saying neck and centre PU tone controls im not sure if you mean directly on the pot were it says solder in the diagram or on one of the three things stciking out of the pickup.

Add a stacked or two to give you separate tone and/or volume controls.

You can use a no-load tone control for tone 2 to get around this.
