Hey, how do you like the AT2020? I have a friend trying to sell me a used Sennheiser e855 and it sounds OK, but I'm thinking I'd be more pleased with a condensor. AT2010s are only $99!!!!

This is the first song I've done with the AT2020, I need to tweak the mix a bit and get the vocals to sit a bit better in there but I think for the money it's a good mic. I had the AT4040 which I really liked. I have a Mindprint mic pre which isn't the best but not terrible either, with a good pre it would probably sound better. You can get an AT2020 for under $100.00.

I find the intro part too weak, the guitar tones are cool.
But man, you have a great sense for choruses. You always hit the right notes, find the right melodies, and the vocals always fit right in it. I don't know how you do it, but you do it with your own signature hehe.

I listened on my studio monitors - sounds awesome! I like the lyrics/message alot! Drums sound pretty complex too, Id maybe add toms other cymbals and more fills if possible. sounds like there are 3 loops in there too so lots of variation with notes. Harmonies on some vocals too. Pretty legit dude, pretty solid with this genre.
