Did they ever come in white?

Sounds like a personal question to me there Dio.![]()
" you tell it like you're barefoot while you wear those hundred dollar shoes. Yeah, you can shuck and jive me all ya want to but, please please please, don't tell me 'bout the blues!"......Buddy Guy

racist! lol
our first drummer died in a bizzare gardening accident!
I won't dance in a club like this,
'Cause all the girls are sluts,
And the beer tastes just like piss.

I don't want to reply here in case I get myself into trouble.![]()

my quarter pounds have all come with cheese on them so far. Dunno about yours.
fortunately some of mine have had more than one type of cheese at once. Those are the quarter pounds you spend your time searching for.

So, did they?

No. Any colour you like as long as it's black vulcanised fibreboard.

Ok, thanks for the info.
Wonder what this is then?

Out of focus!
Seriously, though, once the QP idea gained popularity, it did get "borrowed". Schaller made something with a cream plastic bobbin that resembled the SD QP.

I would not be surprised if SE Asian brands such as Powersound and (non-USA) Mighty Mite have produced similar looking PUs.

Ah ok, that would explain the lack of info. Seller probably hopes someone like me with no great knowledge of single coils will assume it's a Duncan and bid something silly.

Schaller, Rio Grande and Schecter all had pickups with 1/4 inch poles. I am sure others have also made pickups with the same poles.

Plus, I don't see any wire on that thing.
