If nothing else I could just have the push/pull act as a tone control when up, the volume would be full on but that's fine.

I'm putting something together right now. It's really simple actually but a picture speaks a thousand words.

I've thought those were pretty cool since they first came out. I don't get along well with PRS neck profiles or I would have one.

Here ya go. Fixed tone using a push/pull pot.

They don't, they are angled purposely for correct intonation

Not a fan of PRS guitars but I imagine that P90 sounds great and the guitar does look sweet

    Congrats!

No problem. Let me know how it works. I don't have a push/pull to test it with but in theory, it should work. Just replacing the pot (variable resistor) with a fixed resistor value.

Will do, I need to go pick up a push/pull and a resistor but I should be able to test this out in the next few days.

Here's a couple of photos with the guard removed. It's definitely got a small control cavity, but I was surprised to see that kind of neck tenon.

Wow, that's a small control cavity all right. Don't need it much bigger than that with only a volume control. The push/pull should definitely do the trick.

The neck tenon is surprising. Although, Epiphone does have a few models with a long neck tenon on them now. That one looks real tight from the top.

I gave this guy a workout at stage volume last night, and what a glorious noise it makes. I had put a set of 9-46 on it when it first came in, because the strings it had were crusty and old. The 9s sounded a bit thin and anemic, so I swapped them for a set of DR Pure Blues 11s yesterday before I took it out and was immediately happier with the sound unplugged.

After playing last night, I'm not so sure a tone control is really necessary after all. I think the 9s were the main culprit of the thinness I was hearing. Everything rounded out and sounded much warmer with the 11s. It's amazing how versatile a 1 knob, 1 pickup guitar can really be!

I tried to look for a diagram already drawn up but couldn't locate one. I figured, what the heck, even if there is one, I can draw it up faster than finding one at that point...LOL.

Usually they are adequte, but clearly there is an issue if a string is off since there is no way to adjust. There are some wraparound that have adjustment screws at each post that allows for some adjustment. I use a Wilkinson on my beer guitar and it gets about 95% of the way there.

I think Schaller also makes one with individual string intonation.

Congrats! I never understood why those don't come with a tone control. If only they made them in TV Yellow I would already have one (though the red finish is very appealing).

I bet quality wise it's a couple steps up from the Agile.

That's what most people would expect, myself included, but that Agile was a knockout. The only real reasons I prefer the PRS are the neck profile and the single pickup.
