Can you guys better explain the RIFF OFF to me....?

I see a few threads with links....when it starts are the riffs listed in seperate threads or accessible through one thread? It sounds like fun and interesting, Im just a bit confused on how it works...I have read the threads...but still need some direction

you vote for each individual riff, and the ones liked the most advance.

The way it's working now is 16 people submit riffs and a thread is made for each one, with a poll ranging from 0 to 6 and you rate the riff on that scale. Then each round the number of participants is cut in half until there is one winner. When the rating (or voting) starts there's usually one thread with links to each of the other threads. Each of those threads is also stickied at the top so they're easy to find. There is one round a week. Right now we're waiting for the final round of February to start.

The ones done over V-Day weekend weren't stickied at first, so you had to go by the title. Just keep track of which Round is currently in play - Round 1, Round 2, etc.

We're about to start the 4th tournament, so the threads should be titled RiffOff Round 4:1 (first round of 4th tourney), and will go up to 4:4 (16, 8, 4, 2 contestants).
