The Rasta (former Unchained/see ya) and the EVH/RUDE were then taken on the 82 tour!

The Rasta is not a Kramer Pacer never was..and never will be...DO NOT BE a JACKASS! Again YOU HAVE 0 CLUE! EVH hated Kramers!

OK, found the pic I was thinking of, and it's the VHII guitar that's disassembled...

So, you could be right...still, no need to be a jackass.
I'm actually more bummed at the thought of the Unchained paint-job getting ruined...hahahaha

Now that we got that out of the way...back on topic, I don't think it sounds like he used JBs either...

Could Be right? Seems you want to swallow your foot!

BTW the original black headstock neck that was on that VHII Charvel body went on to be painted to match the Rasta motif and was put on the RASTA/SEE YA/UNCHAINED guitar..and NO that particular guitar does not have a JB it has an X2N now!!

This thread is like one of those goofy female(or male)hosted talk shows that you hate to admit you watch. It is entertaining

... just a note: the original pic from Musician mag (Sept. 1982?) was in color.

Looking out the window there... I'm wondering if that was taken at Ed's mom's (R.I.P.) house off Las Tunas in Pasadena... being that Ed's house on Coldwater Canyon in the Hollywood hills didn't really have a backyard. And that pic hanging from the window sill - the dude posing like Atlas...if that's what it is... looks like it inspired the cover for 5150.

... I can't tell the pic's too small. Speaking of hottie Val- Ed was living w/ his mother up until he got married - I think Val even stayed in the house too. Bet that old wooden shack in Ed's back yard (the one up against the alley) saw a lots of "action" - if plywood walls could only *talk*...

Thanks, Dweezil! I'm delighted I was able to play a small part in uncovering that EVH guitar mystery. I had always wondered what had happened to the "Unchained" guitar until a guy who goes by "evhguitars" told me about it's history.
That's when I decided to launch this loony "investigation", I needed proof! And, honestly, when I examined and compared photos of both guitars I found it rather quickly! It was there all the time! Typical!
Enjoy the "Rasta", Dweezil and if it's not too much trouble please take the time to post some updated video and pictures of that guitar. I'd love to see more!

I think I can read you from Portugal.

Walters? Did you move on from pup years to EVH's gear?

What does this have to do with any of the content of this thread? New thread is started in the EVH RASTA/SEE YA/ UNCHAINED GUITAR and a HO pickup that was used on it, thanks!

One of the benefits of being me is that I don't have to:

    a) justify myself to you
    b) maintain the thread in it's tracks

    I will however say this:

In over 100 posts your formating has been atrocious; your command of the English language sub-par (please note I am not a native speaker myself); your punctuation is laughable at best e.g., your use of exclamation marks instead of question marks; and your use of forum etiquette is null i.e., your use of bright colors, gargantuan font size, etc.

You also make absolutely no sense whatsoever.

My recommendation? Grow up, learn how to write and take some Ritalin.

Should you are already be of a certain age... See a therapist for your anger management issues and enroll in some sort of literacy program for adults.

In case you're a troll, please have the common decency to die and know that any baiting reply to my response shall be met with a swift report to the mods and grief as you have not yet known until such time as you have been removed from our presence.
