From what I've heard, you always lose some sustain & low end with any vibrato bar. But you could add some of that back by adjusting for it with your amp. And since you've got Phat Cats, you could also use magnet swaps to compensate. I've got an Epi Riviera P-93 with three dog ear P-90's and a Bigsby, and it sure sounds good.
