It's already been mentioned but I'm going to mention it again, PRS. Take a look at their Singlecut models. I have a SE Singlecut Korina that is really light and sings like nobody's business. It feels lighter than my Frankenstrat which weighs in around 7 lbs. I don't know if there is much of a difference in weight with the USA models, which have been unfortunately discontinued (the SC 245 and SC 250). But, don't count out the SE models. I play out roughly twice a month and could keep that PRS slung on my shoulders all night without a problem.
As for the CTS, go with lighter strings. Heavier strings are just too hard on the hand when you have that condition, especially when there is a lot of bending going on. Play what is comfortable and continue on.
Are you adjusted at work with the proper setup so the CTS doesn't get any worse?
EDIT: I weighed my PRS last night and it's 6.5 lbs. Definitely the lightest guitar I own.
