    Default Emergency Gear Purge

I have too many guitars for how much i play and have an opportunity to get a guitar i would play all the freakin time. Here's your chance to get everything I'm not using so that I can raise funds for this thing.

I will also be accepting monetary donations which of course will be repayed throughout your next lives in the form of above-average karma.

EVERYTHING MUST GO - MAKE OFFERS - PRICE INCLUDES SHIPPING IN U.S. - WILLING TO WORK OUT INTERNATIONAL SALES

'79 Gibson Marauder - $600 - Mahogany body, maple neck, maple fretboard, walnut stain. Sort of like Gibson's attempt at a Telecaster. Stock Bill Lawrence-designed Gibson Super Humbucking pickup in the neck and rail single coil in the bridge. Dark brown walnut finish. These were Gibson's "budget" guitars at the time but were endorsed by KISS and the Rolling Stones and have a lot of cool vintage vibe! Previous owner moved the input jack to where you'd find one on a Les Paul so that he could rearrange the controls...i changed it back to stock as soon as i got the thing but i left the extra jack plate in place cuz it looks better than a huge hole Hardshell case included.

'07 Fender Jaguar Special HH - $500 - Alder body, maple neck, rosewood fretboard. The black-and-chrome, made in Japan ones that sell new for $800 these days. Vintage-output stock "Dragster" humbuckers, shorter-scale neck and tune-o-matic bridge make this perfect for Gibson guys that want a Fender look, or Fender guys that want a Gibson sound. Basically mint except for very slight pick and belt rash...about as bad as a three-year-old guitar would look in a nicer guitar shop. Comes with the stock gig-bag with a li'l tear in it and an UNUSED Fender warranty card and registration

'74 Dallas-Arbiter Fuzz Face - $400 - ORIGINAL BOX AND INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED FOR EXTRA RETRO AWESOMENESS!! The fuzz that Jimi loved the most; really great tone but more valuable than I am comfortable stepping on. This one is cheaper than most cuz it has some weird issues -- with both knobs up all the way it picks up radio stations. This only happens when a knob is up ALL THE WAY so most usable settings are still available, and i'm sure somebody who's interested in vintage fuzzes will be able to sort out whatever is causing that issue.

I would really appreciate it if you bought these from me as soon as humanly possible so that i don't miss the opportunity to get a guitar i've been wanting since i started playing! And even if you don't i would appreciate bumps and / or comments about how awesome this gear is and how much other people should donate to the cause. Thanks again dudes!

EDITED FOR PIX: I tried to show off any and all dings, scratches, mods and defects where applicable...wasn't always easy to get 'em to show up...guess that's a good sign!

No dice. I just ordered a USA fender neck and a USACG tele body. Best of luck!

Buy this man's PRS! The other guitarist in my band has one and it sounds and plays incredible.

Once again, if I could swing the money and could manage to play it upside down then that Jag special would be mine, ****ing immediately.

Good luck with the fund-raising, dude.

I'd put the neck profiles up too. Is the CE wide or thin?

The necks on all of them are actually a similar profile -- kinda chunky but not overly so. I don't know PRS neck sizes but this one is not too thin like some are. The Marauder is like a thinner flatter Gibson-radius C and the Jag is like a super-soft shortscale V.

The thin PRS necks are TOO thin for me. If you still have the hanger it should say. Or I could probably tell with a profile shot of the neck.

BTW: I've only seen 2 neck profiles on PRS. Wide thin and Wide thick. I much prefer the thick.

I like the looks of the Marauder. :-) I posted this over at alt.guitar but so far not much interest. Good Luck
