Are the P-Rails Hot $20 more than reg P-Rails because of the Alnico 8 magnets?

The Alternative 8 does cost about $10 more than most non-signature Seymour Duncan humbuckers. Custom 5 $72.95, Alternative 8 $82.95...

P-Rails Hot has TWO Alnico 8 magnets. The Alternative 8 is appropriately priced compared to a JB, Custom 5, etc. P-Rails Hot follows the same formula.

Thanks Frank. Are the P-Rails Hot pickups overwound with A8 magnets or are they simply a P-Rails with 2 Alnico 8 magnets?

Overwound, different wire, voiced so that the P90 is huge and the humbucker is super thick and fat, but you still retain top end on the HB tones because that Rails coil is always the "tweeter".
