    Default Wymore guitars pup covers

Anyone know if the non-seymour duncan pup covers Wymore sells will fit seymour duncan singles?

    Cheers

No, but I bought a cheap nickel one with 50mm pole spacings off a UK website and although the holes were slightly out, I just used a round file to make them a little bigger. Worked a treat, it's barely noticeable.

They probably will - most Strat pickups are all the same size.

I know for a fact that Fender (USA), Seymour Duncan, and Jackson single coil pickup covers are interchangeable, because I have all those that I have swapped covers on, because I always like to keep the cover with the guitar, not the pickup, so I don;t have bright white pups in my worn-in guitars - looks off to me..

Ha ha, I missed the fact you were talking about singles, and I wasn't even drinking.

However, I can testify that not all Jackson single coils fit Duncan covers. I had to use the old round file to get a Duncan cover to fit my Jackson single coil.

Hm - maybe the Jackson covers are larger slightly?

Seems like a larger cover / smaller bobbin would be better than vise versa for Grant

The Jackson I'm talking about is a cheaper model from 1994 so it could have been a short run of pups they used, I don't know.

I think they'll fit though. It's import stuff that's normally weird sizes.

fender and dimarzio aren't the same
fender has two sizes of covers -short and tall
short over the stacked noiseless and tall for standard singles

    dimarzio uses "F-spaced" single poles
fender uses the narrower standard spacing

this one fits my noiseless vintage fender
    but on my bullet strat
