weird ass wiring problem...im prob just retarded

2 buckers, 1 tone, 1 volume, 1 on-on mini toggle

Im trying to get the mini toggle to split the neck bucker only

i have it wired up and the bridge works fine, but there is no output coming from the neck in either position of the mini toggle. here is the weird part....it def outputs a signal because i can tune my guitar via plug in tuner....but no sound.

anyways, what should the wiring be for the neck pup and the mini toggle since thats probably the easiest way to do things.

Are you sure your tuner is not hearing hum? I can't figure out how you could possibly get no sound in an amp but get a tuner reading.

All you need to do to split a humbucker is wire the red and white to the center lug of the toggle, and connect one of the outside lugs to ground. If you're using a DPDT, imagine these are the lugs:

1 2
3 4
5 6

You'd connect red and white to 3 and ground to 1 or 5. Black goes to the pickup selector like always, and green goes to ground like always.

i can tune the guitar perfectly with the neck pup...i have no idea how either.

ill wire it up as above and see what happens.
