    my guess is a Broadcaster, since the poles appear to be flat ... I'd have to find mine to make a good comparison, though

    Yep. Looks just like my old Duncan Broadcaster pickup. The older ones are usually a little hotter than the newer ones. Mine measures about 8.2K. Lew

    I would agree with Curly and Lew. It looks like an older Broadcaster.

    Got a response from the seller:

    "Sorry I do not. It was in my tele when I bought it. Used of course. I did notice though. The pickup wiring looks older then all other pickups I have dealt with. It is wax coated cloth type coated wire. All the pickups I have seen have been smaller plastic coated wire.

    Well, I went ahead and bid on it. Got it for $37 and after a bit more investigating(thanks for the picture Curly) I'm pretty positive that it is an older Broadcaster. The guy lives about an hour from where I live so I'll have it by Friday and I'll test the resistance.
