See if anyone remembers me here. I see some familiar faces in the new post section.
I've been residing over at Classic-Celica.com trying to get a car of mine running. I've gotten pretty into cars but I haven't given up on guitar. I just got a new (old) bass for my high school graduation, CLASS OF 2010 BABY, and its totally wicked.
It's a 1960's Hohner fretless bass. My parents bought it for 150 off of my band teacher and it plays really well and sounds great. It looks just like this one
Mine has a maple neck and it still has the chrome bridge cover and the leather pad on the back. It has a stamp on the back of the headstock that says "Made in Western Germany."
I'm going to start jamming with a jazz group, were going to try to get some gigs around town.
In other news I've been accepted to Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma and I'll be going there for Biology and Pre-Med in the fall.
I wish I had posted on here a bit more in the last year or so but I took a big break from the internet in general. You guys were always really helpful and I learned a lot (mostly everything I know) about how to work on guitars from the information on this forum.
