    Default Fender weird bobbin help

I know this is the Seymour Duncan froum but I was wondering if any of you might have some ideas about this.....
I have attached a picture of a Fender texas Special Tele bridge pickup.
On the second pole piece from the left I have circled a strange part of the bobbin.
You can see what I mean by the pole piece to the left and right of the one I have circled.
It looks like the bobbins are not flat and have some kind molded part that comes up and meets the top of the pole pieces because some of them are staggered.
I have only seen this on the pictures of the Texas Special and no other pickups.
My problem is that I have asked for loads of pictures from different shops that have this pickup in stock to send me pictures but not one has come back looking like the picture I have attached.
What is this strange molded part and why cant I find another one that looks like this.
Have any of you guys seen a bobbin like this before?
