    Default At first, I thought it was normal amp/pedal noise...

    ..until i started playing with the stock neck pickup (something I rarely do). It's a Custom TB-5 in the bridge, and it's noisy. Perhaps a bad ground? It sounds good otherwise. Just noisy.

    has to be bad ground, go over it all again and resolder if you have to.

    So a simple fix? I have no knowledge or tools to fix such a thing, but I'm getting a new pickup in my tele. I'll ask the guy to fix the ground when he works on the other guitar. I'm just glad it's nothing major.
