Single Coil Strat Pickup Recommendations

That upper horn,bridge saddles and neck radius are screaming 70s strat. What year is it??

It is a 1974.

I bought it brand new (for $338 in '74), but swapped out the pups years and years ago. The cover of DP's Made in Japan motivated me to get the black/maple, and I was such a young kid, I had no idea about rosewood, alder, ash, etc. I chose the hardtail because I had heard of all the problems keeping strats with vibratos in tune.

I can only find the original middle pup, as it was still in the guitar. The others are in a box somewhere, but I haven't been able to find them.

I wanted a matched set, and the advice I got in this thread was great.
