NGD x2! With pics!

First of all, the newest addition to the family:



Ibanez SZ320, it actually has a JB in the bridge.
It doesn't have the Duncan logo, sadly. Sick sustain, amazing sound.
I'm not 100% happy with the JB but it's a good starting point. Amazing guitar!

Now a short story... I used to have this Squier beater around that some of you spotted:



And then I bought this AllParts Strat with a sweet Hamer neck, with a very modern profile that just didn't suit the guitar and it's vintageness:



Long story made short, I swapped pieces here and there and...



Dominus should be proud.

(The AllParts is waiting for a new neck, because the Squier neck is ruined)

Kam, it's got a Duncan Designed HB103 pickup. Supposedly based on the Distortion, no?
High output, not much bass, healthy mids and lots of high mids/highs on this guitar. The volume pot is a push pull, set to split. Useful.
Pretty good for really tight riffing, unlike the SZ which sounds thicker and spongier overall.
The SZ sounds much better for my taste, but the Squier's definitely got a good reason to be. Simple and cool.

It also gained a LOT of sustain by removing those single coils. I'm talking at least 30%, probably more. Impressive.
