I'm an Inside Sales clerk/Purchaser/shipper/receiver for an industrial finishing equipment distributor. It's not exciting, but it pays the bills.

I also have a small business repairing guitars, some mail order parts and things and custom guitar manufacturing.

Inside sales and customer service rep for a company that sells tube fittings and valves. I've also been known to work in the warehouse if it's slow in the office but busy in the warehouse.

I sit in a cubicle with a PC all day, but unfortunately most forms of internet usage are frowned upon, thus me not being able to get on the forum during work hours.

Not the most exciting work, and definitely not the best paying, but seeing as how most of my friends who graduated college the same time as me are still busting their asses waiting tables until the economy turns around....I'll gladly take this position over that.

Truth be told, I spend far more time involved in RtI activities than handing out tickets these days. That's a GOOD thing.

The short buses have more empty seats...but the filled seats are occupied with more severe problems.

I can't remember his name, but I met a British astronaut when I was a tour guide at the Johnson Space Center. Any time I talked to an astronaut (only about 3 or 4 times in my 3 years there) it was an amazing experience - not only from hearing their stories but also their knowledge and intellect. You have to know your **** before you can go into space, I guess.

The only way Simon's getting into space is with a pipe and some green stuff, unless the Mrs. kicks his rear really hard.

You're not really a stand by Astronaut, are you Simon? I thought you wrote code or did something else with computers?

I unload trucks for a 400 billion dollar company. It's a very physically demanding job, but decent, it's like getting paid to go to the gym.

Do your teachers know how to use it? Over here, it's a pretty well-kept secret. I think it's because admin and psych departments are still trying to figure out exactly how the hell to make it work. My GF is getting her ed specialist degree in school psych, and she's getting kinda frustrated at the fact that nobody around here is actually DOING RtI (except on paper), so there's no opportunity to actually see it in action. I guess it's easy to recognize when interventions need to take place, but not so easy to figure out exactly what the intervention should look like in practice (and definitely not so easy to put it into action).
