    Default tsl100 half stack tone

i have a tsl100 halfstack, and i can get a damn ****ing awesome tone out of it, just a good one. i think it might be my settings, mid 5, hi and low at 7, gain kinda low, but it could also be the pickups in my les paul classic, ceramic magnet. also someone told me if i change to groove tubes it will sound 100% better. i like to play alot of guns n roses, velvet revolver, jimi hendrix, aerosmith, led zeppelin, van halen, etc.... thanx

How Long Have you had it?
Chances are that you simply just need to experiment with it more, even if you think the most extreme settings will sound bad you really won't know until you try them..I have a DSL 50 and IMO i can get great tones out of it..At the moment I have mine at ..Presence 8, treble 9 Mid 10 and Bass 5, try that ..
