    Default Hey, tech guys!

Our burner isn't working properly in the Macbook, so I'm looking at getting an external cd/dvd burner. Any recommendation for something that doesn't require knowing how to use fancy software? Most preferred would be one that I could press the "on" button and it'll do the rest.

    Thanks in advance fellas.

Ditch whatever anit-virus you're using. It's mistaking your burner as a virus.

Norton is the worst for this.

It's the burner itself. Won't read or write disks. I think it's had enough, especially after Meg...

I don't think it matters. I may be wrong but I thought disk burning was all handled through the OSX system. If you plug in any USB burner the system should take care of the rest. The burner may come with optional software (toast or something similar) but I don't believe it's necessary. Just plug and play.
