At least have the decency to use empty but real cabs for gosh sakes. That's what REAL rock stars do with their walls of amps.

    nice find crguti!

who knows - maybe it was the venue's/promoter's/other band's idea!

dang, even from that angle you can see the ones on the left are like 2 inches thick, hehe!

Kind of weird that those Engls aren't racked -- just sitting on that case like that.

I won't dance in a club like this,

I said this last time this was posted:

They're putting on a show. Part of putting on a show is having cool visuals, and fewer things look cooler at a rock concert than a wall of full stacks. Since that many amps would be completely unmanageable both sonically and logistically, this approach is the way to go.

Also, I want that for the wall of my living room.

I agree. On the one hand, it does seem a bit cheesy that they're all fake. On the other -- who cares? It's a rock show and why haul around that many Marshall cabs and heads to get road rash?

I want something like that for small club gigs. 20 foot stage with two fullstacks on either side of the drum riser.
If you can't play good, play loud.

Would be fun to watch the faces on the club employees when you put it up!

I may or may not have hauled around a full Marshall stack to small glub gigs, but only ran the bottom cab...

Some people understand the value of having a good visual impact.

    The rest use combos.

Underground US black metal is actually kind of cool.

It's that dramatic keyboard-y European stuff that a little light in the codpiece, if you want my opinion...

It's NOT Immortal's backdrop, it belongs to whoever was putting on the FESTIVAL they were playing. Is it really that hard to figure out?? But why give it any thought, let's just **** all over Immortal for something they aren't responsible for.

    Cheers,

    CJ
