Which Duncan humbucker is closest in sound/tone to a Gibson Burstbucker Pro? Also, are the Burstbucker 3 and Pro the same thing with a different mag? Thanks!

I would think that the '59 would be close to the Burstbucker Pro, but maybe not quite as much output with a little more clarity.
The Burstbucker 1 & 2s on my Les Paul Historics ARE wax potted from the factory. However, I believe the aftermarket pickups for sale are NOT potted. I think Gibson has flipped on this a couple of times.

Some would say the BB Pro has more clarity than the 59. I have used both.
59 closest.

This is typically correct. Gibson doesn't want warranty claims coming back from sqealing pickups.
A BB Pro neck = a BB1 with Alnico V mag ~ 7.75K
A BB Pro Bridge = a BB2 with Alnico V mag ~ 8.25K
A BB3 is all by itself ~ 8.75K
Get youself a BB3 and put an Alnico V magnet in it and you'll have the missing pickup - a BB Pro +
My BB PRo was 8.5

I have a BB3 in the bridge of my Les Paul now. There are things that I like about the pickup and things that I don't. To me, the mids sound hollow. On lower gain settings, I hear the "woody" thing that everybody talks about...but with higher gain, I hear attach on the top end and attack on the bottom end. THe mids seem to be missing.
