    Black guitars with rosewood fretboards...

    I absolutely can't stand them...

I'll probably be shunned for saying it but anything with a Floyd Trem, or one of those really overtly obnoxious trem systems that has a ridiculous amount of bars, pins, and screws on it

Also, most pointy guitars are immediately ugly to me, especially any pointy super-strat

I'd rather see a nice Fender Strat/Tele or a Les Paul.... either one of those can be new and clean, or old and beaten up... I guess I'm pretty vanilla when it comes to guitars

I find most of the newer guitars ugly, something about the classic designs(strat,SG,tele,LP,LP JR etc...) allways lures me in.

Anything with a sharp point that isn't an SG or immediately inspired by an SG.

    Black hardware.

    Gold hardware.

    Dumbass graphics.

    Picture inlays.

That double-thick binding was a good call.

    Three humbuckers. On ANYTHING.

All the fun stuff, really. I hate it. Hate it all. With a ****ing passion.
Every love that made me lose my reasoning. Every chord that made my conscience ache. Every day spent counting hours. Well, none of them comes close to singing back a song inside my head.

    I remember calloused hands and paint-stained jeans, and I remember safe-as-houses self-belief.

I'm not a big fan of all black hardware. I have it on a couple of guitars and it looks ok, but I prefer gold or chrome/nickel.

It's an old (no idea how old because there isn't a brand, make, model, year, writing of any kind whatsoever on this guitar), what we think is japanese, copy of a Gretsch TK-300

But honestly, there's just no clue. It's a complete mystery

They do tend to run in packs! I haven't seen many Schecters I would care to own, myself.

Same here. Schecter guitars don't do anything for me.

But I think that the award for most ugly guitar designs just has to go to Gibson/Epiphone. Seriously, who thinks this stuff up? And why does it get past the drawing board?

    Because Gibson's robot tech isn't selling :/.

Or atleast not as much as they want it too.

As far as fugly guitars, the dusktiger is the top one. Mainly because of the 70's basement wall panel looking finish on it.
