    Default JB Trembucker ground?

ok, so I got my JB trembucker in the mail today and I need help with the wiring. I want it to be 1 volume with a stereo output jack (because they feel more secure). BUT, I don't know where to ground it, because I've got a Schaller Sure Claw. does it NEED to be grounded on the bridge/strings? could I just use a common ground plate, gibson style? I don't wanna solder it on the back of the pot.

In the following diagram, the red arrows are where you "ground", (just connect them together), and the blue arrow is your "hot" output:

I'm not sure what a Schaller Sure Claw is, so someone else will hopefully jump in on that one.

ok wicked. got it working and coming from an EMG 81, I just S**t myself. the overdrive on my 5150 combo is a lot smoother and more defined.
why do i need to connect those two lugs on the jack together though? i was getting a lot of hum but that may be because i don't have something grounded right. i was getting a lot of hum with the EMG as well, but the JB has more.

EMG's are quieter than duncans, so the hum is probably the cable or amp, unless you didn't have the pickups grounded correctly.

Hopefully you're not trying to ground the EMGs.
Buy the book in my avatar. It's pretty cool.

Hah, not to the strings at least. The pickup does need to be grounded to the pot, and the pots together, though.
