Apparently we had a 4.0 to 4.3 (depending which report you listen to) earthquake hit near here a little after 9am. People in my complex have told me they felt it and that it shook things on their wall, but I obviously slept right through it. Epicenter was right around Oklahoma City, which is about 90 miles from where I live in Tulsa.....I live in the southwestern most part of Tulsa.
My wife was walking the dogs this morning, standing under a big oak tree in our courtyard and all of a sudden acorns started pelting down on her head. She had hear some squirrels chattering in the tree, but that's nothing unusual around here. Apparently our dogs were getting the squirrels all worked up and they started throwing acorns down! A couple hit my wife in the head and my wife saw at least one of the dogs get hit! Those squirrels are damn good shots apparently!
Also, my sister was in line at the grocery store this morning and her iPhone was sitting in the grocery cart where you can sit a child if you have one. While she was unloading her cart, someone came along and swiped the iPhone without anyone else in line or the cashier seeing it. She had just been on the phone and set it down to unload, so she knows it was right there.
Can't they track you iPhone using the onboard GPS? Anyone know about that?
Anyhow, more eventful around here than usual for sure.![]()
