    Default FS/FT Early 70's SG

I have an early 70's (not sure exact date) walnut SG that I need to move on. Everything is original except for the tuners which were replaced with grovers.
The headstock was professionally repaired a few months ago and was done very cleanly and is blended into the rest of the finish to hide it. I'm looking to get $1000 with a hardshell case. PM for more info.

The serial number and some close up shots of the headstock would be nice.

My 76 is almost the same, except for binding and no break. The break looks clean,I've seen far worst.

You sir are full of crap and shoudl check your facts before you spout off and possibly damage someone elses for sale ad...

The late 70's/early 80's Gibson "The SG" guitars had DOT inlays (that one has blocks), they also has a gold decal Gibson logo (that oen has inlay) they also had no other markings on the headstock (that one has the flower pot/flame inlay) and the "The SG" also came with only the wide travel TP-6 and a stop bar...the one for sale in this thread has a very stock Bigsby tailpiece and TP-6...

It's not at all a "The SG"...in fact it looks to be for sure to me an early 70's SG Standard (some places refer to the Bigsby models as "Deluxe" or "Pro" but Im not sure thats correct.

Anyway, the guitar w/o the headstock repair wodl be priced at $1500-2000 maybe more at any good dealer so with the repair (which looks very well done BTW) is easily work a grand the way I see it.

    Good luck with the sale!
