Since when was it allowed that someone could come and take a big 'ol **** in a classified thread?
Who cares what he has or what he is asking, if you don't like it, move on.
Not only are you totally in the wrong, but you don't even know what you are talking about.
Perhaps you should head back to HCF.

Nice geet! That hs repair wouldn't scare me one bit. Looks nice and clean, to me. Good luck with the sale.
...and yeah, that's pretty rough, dude. Somebody sure woke up on the wrong side of the bed or has been hittin the sauce a bit heavily. Either way, not only is it not cool but he's completely full of crap.

First of All, I had a real awakening. I realized that here I am, virtually in Seymours house, and to trading insults in a class establishment and exhibiting epitome of low class. I I will no longer do it.Formula , if you want to know what I think about you for calling me a clueless. P.O.S, Formula73 PM me , and I'll tell you in no uncertain terms.
The forum as far back as I can remember has always been a place where someone can call out something that just ain't quite right without any real animosity intended.
My first post was pretty simple and to the point, but where I got into trouble was TGWIF just pushed my buttons by calling me a dirty name and intimating I was ignorant and going all "expert- I know it all I'm high and mighty don't dare to disagree with me cause I know every pedal in the book by its proper name".. because I just so happened to get the specific the model of the guitar incorrect. This is the same guy that takes great liberties with Duncans liberal policies of open discussions of any pedals, never once mentioning a Duncan pedal except to say point blank once in a discussion involving a Duncan Representative thought Seymour Duncan pedals weren't any good. Real Cool!
Heres the facts;
The guitar is a Walnut stained 72-75 SG Special. These are the years thee walnut Block inlayed SG 's wrer produced . They made some 71's in Walnut in the Standard I believe, however they were bound necks. Its is the unbound , and can be distinguished from the cheaper SG200 by its beveled horns . Mint book value for an SG Special for,m 72-75 is 1300 for a normal players guitar to 1600 for a mint pristine example. Slightly higher really, but I think this is about average for this economy.
Let me stress this. There is NO good Gibson headstock repair. That is because the wood on a Gibson surrounding the russrod at the Headstock repair on a guitar that isn't heirloom quality is so thin that virtually very Headstock repair becomes in essence valueless to a collector. There are too many issues with the trussrod not having enough meat to keep the guitar in tune afterwards of a headstock crack..
Myabe fine if you want a player, but at online auction the guitar would never fetch over 400.00.Thats exactly what I said it was worth, and thats far enough off the mark of a gand that I was justified in mentioning it here.
You people can buy it all day long for whatever price you want, you too Aryton, I don't care in the least.
Again, I see nothing out of the ordinary or inflammatory about my OP in this thread.
I move the others be stricken form the record.
Go spurs go! Tonight I Gloat with a drunken Victory post. Watch for it! !

Where did I call you a POS? I said you were full of crap, and/or in a bad mood and/or drunk. It is incredibly bad form to crap on a dude's listing here, as it is a community of friends, for the most part. You called it out as the wrong model, called the repair worthless, and became more and more inflammatory as you tried to force your opinion on everybody as fact.
I wouldn't pay 1000 for it, either. I've got a kid on the way and can't spare the dough, as well as having more guitars than I know what to do with, already. That doesn't mean the op isn't entitled to ask a frickin million dollars for it.
Lighten up, man. Damn.

Btw: go ahead and pm me about it. I'll happily forward it to the mods and refer them to this topic, and your quoted rants, just in case you decide to go back and change them. You know, if you read back through and decide you want to try to make us all look like we are beating up on you, or something.

Not much I can do to delete, its already plastered all over, but if OP starts another thread I will not post in it.
I'm sorry about all my other posts besides the first one, and even that could have been said in a friendlier way.

If it's stable and holds tune, It's worth a grand to someone.
