Hi,

Recently I bought the newer version of the CR with a white cover. Now I want to move that pup to a different guitar that has black pickups. Is it possible to change these covers out as one would do on a regular single coil Strat pup, or something close to that?

If so, where do you buy them?

Is it possible to remove the cover and play with them bare? Someone had a post up here that tried to show what they look like bare, but clicking on that thread, which must be old by now, only shows an array of the CR stock pups in their 2 forms in both white and black, but nothing showing them with their covers removed.

So, can you change from white to black, and how do they look bare?

I don't know about changing them...but if you can, getting one might be a good question for customer service.

I'm fairly certain that they're epoxied in and unchangeable.
