Believe me when I say that some of the most amazing music in history was made on equipment that's not as good as what you own right now.

I think in Alabama that might require a conjugal visit, so I'll politely decline.

You can do it yourself if you go visit a few pawn shops. Trick is finding a good neck. People there think I'm nuts when I play every single note on every single string.

Nice guitar! I have the same pickups in my Strat and LOVE em...Thanks to Lew for the pickup suggestions, and sale. The Twangbanger rocks.

I'll bet she's going to just about fall out when she plugs that little beauty into an amp for the first time. So which one of your amps is she gonna get Scott_F? No way she goes for more than a year without you furnishing a handwired amp for her.

I feel neglected, Uncle Scott! lol

I'm like you in the fact that we take these things to heart. I've been doing setups for spending cash lately, and I go overboard always. The guys get their guitars back and almost cry!

I'm not sure to be honest. Probably an Austin. Might just go with tweed though. The custom tolex on that cab sets me back about $150 or so more than a raw tweed deluxe cab with a Princeton cut out. She's going to have to do her part.
