    Default pup confirmation?

    i just bought a Tele that was listed with this pup upgrade...

    "Upgrades Include: Seymour Duncan Antiquity Hand-Wired Texas Tele pickups (both single coil) (Upgrade cost $275) "

    i've searched the website but find nothing like this....
    the neck pup has no markings on the bottom...but has braided cloth wires...and sounds great...especially the bridge pup, which i haven't pulled yet...it has raised polepieces on D and G strings...

    the guy also stated it had a Wilkinson bridge but it appears to be a Fender bridge with Wilky brass compensated saddles...so he may have erred in the pups as well...
    i've no complaint, the upgrades are great....i'd just like to know what's in it...

    I think you've been misled. Fender makes Texas Special pickups. I'm almost positive it's those. I know SD makes a tele antiquity... but texas?

    they do not appear aged...looks closest to the vintage 54 neck and FN bridge pups from the pics and descriptions...
    have to find good pics of the Fender Texas Spec to check them...
    either way, they sound great...
