I use a good car wax like Maguiers and it works very well. For heavier issues, (clearcoat scratches) Ive used this product and it works pretty well.. Bought a used blue carvin that the seller left the trem bar to get loose in the case and it tore the heck outta the guitar. gouges, dents. But they dont show so much in the flame maple, but the white lines where the clearcoat was scratched did. The blue version of this polish made it to where all you can see is worming where the scratch was..
Im gonna get some black next!
Believe me when I say that some of the most amazing music in history was made on equipment that's not as good as what you own right now.

HEY, I RESENT THAT.
I have no relation to an American, I wear THIS belt-buckle (really I do) and none of my guitars has any rash of this or any other kind (well, except maybe pick rash but that's only on a couple where the strings are too close to the body...)
Funny thing is, although I love Schecters I don't own any of their guitars, got real close more than a couple of times but every time I was buying the one I wanted wasn't available and when it was, tis was too late![]()
