Is it possible? Got myself a Lester (don't worry, it's not one of those classics that has to be kept in original condition) with a big ol' '59 neck on it. Sounds good enough, but for my whimpy little girly-man hands, it's a bit of a baseball bat.

So, whaddya guys think? Is it actually possible to shave it down and re-finish it, or would I end up with useless body and an exposed rod (lol)? More importantly, would it actually be cheaper than just getting another one with a slim tapered 60's neck?
