I'm a bit burnt on the classics like SB, black, red, white, and don't care much for 60's pastels. I like metallic finishes a lot, like Inca Silver, Shoreline Gold, and most shades of blue besides baby blue.

Two tone paisley sunburst.

This thread's been pretty enlightening.
Some of you guys have terrible taste.

Every love that made me lose my reasoning. Every chord that made my conscience ache. Every day spent counting hours. Well, none of them comes close to singing back a song inside my head.
I remember calloused hands and paint-stained jeans, and I remember safe-as-houses self-belief.

paisley is of course a great color but i really like the old white blonde where you can still see the grain thru it

paisley is for real men.

I've wondered about this same question as well.
The blue/mint/rosewood does look nice.
Black with maple is a classic.
I like a tritone with rosewood and white or mint as well.

Black with a "Ringo" pickguard for me!

Daphne or Sonic blue are both great. Any white looks great with a white pickguard, too. Olympic, Arctic, Vintage white. And my favorite Fender color is Lake Placid Blue, but I don't like it nearly so much on a Strat. That's really a Tele color in my mind.

Vintage white for me.....but its not a patch on paisley.

I really like my Candy apple red strat but sunburst is a classic wouldn't mind seeing a butterscotch one as well.

Paisley for the win.

I have to say I'm impressed and surprised, overall.

Any of the unearthly colors from the 50's for me. If it looks good on a huge American 50's car with lots of chrome, it should look great on a Strat.
