Help me find 80's metal documentary/videos

I caught some of the VH1 metal mania and I thought it was amazing. I am looking for a comprehensive source of 80's metal in all of its greatness, I want live performances, interviews, and music videos are an absolute must.

I'm having a hard time finding out how I can see the whole vh1 metal mania series. Was it just a few hours or is it a whole block of programming like "shark week"?

Can someone direct me to a comprehensive documentary? I just want to sit back some day with drinks and other substances and watch a few hours of 80's awesomeness with the pointy guitars, jump suits, incredibly hot 80's bimbos, etc. Help me find good sources for 80's videos that doesn't involve me switching grainy youtube videos every 3 minutes. Where is Ken Burns when you need him?

Metal Mania is just a block of random 70's-00's metal music videos. VH1 Classic might have a playlist on their site but I doubt somebody's recorded every one as the same few videos are always played.

I'll definitely check that out. Looks very informative, a real documentary for sure.

I do appreciate the Vh1 approach as well where they just bombard you in the stupidest "tv" way possible, I might need to supplement with something more like vh1's offerings as well.

Also, if anyone can offer up suggestions for the best, most outrageous, must see 80's metal music videos let me know.

ooo, speaking of films. can't go wrong with Anvil, the Story of Anvil, starring Anvil. flight 666 was awesome. I need to see Get Thrashed, even though it goes a bit too far into the present for my tastes. It Might Get Loud (not metal, I know) is on comcast these days, I'm gonna check that out too.
