RUSH.

Why the 'establishment' hates them so much is beyond me but they have never received any recognition or respect. They have recorded and toured both successfully and consistantly since the early 70's and when you consider their total album sales, concert ticket sales, longevity, chart successes and level of musicianship they outperform half the bands currently enshrined.

Half the bands? I think there's some stat out there that Rush is #3 in platinum (or gold?) record sales behind the Stones and Beatles.

Anyways... TOTALLY agree with you. This has been a sore spot with Rush fans for a LONG time.

The RRHoF is a joke to me. Just like Rolling Stone magazine. You've got to be in the "cool club" or whatever these sour, bitter, character-flawed inductors think is cool.

I'm not really a fan at all, but I just don't understand how Rush hasn't been inducted yet. The choices they make each year are almost laughable.

There are friggin' RAP artists in the RRHoF. I was listening to someone on a radio or TV program one day list all of the stupid, idiotic inductees who couldn't be further from R&R. It really is a sad, sad joke.
