Maple is bright toned, after all.
Funny thing, two friends of mine (one got the ex, the other got the V) got these and they have different buckers. the Explorer and V come with Duncan Designed HB103's
Im assuming the sg and paula will maybe have the same?

^^ Yeah, they were advertised as Gibson pickups, but I think they changed it now on the website. There are threads about the Explorer and V on the mylespaul.com forum discussing this.
Not the SG obviously, but there's not much - I expect they're all like that. You'd have to expand it if you wanted to stick an active pu in it. I can see this one appealing to the long tenon cork sniffers.
