Finally went down and picked it up! Let me apologize for the quick and dirty pics, but it is late, and I am tired.

I am super stoked with the guitar being a big MC5 fan, and a tip of the hat to Fender for bringing such a cool sig model to market at a reasonable price.

I put in my order as soon as it was announced at NAMM!

My only "gripes" are the vintage frets, and weak lack luster single coils. I will have a fix for both very soon.

The flake you have in the paint is going to make yours POP! I ordered a set of DiMarzio Injectors for mine, and it will soon have 6115 stainless frets.

The Clash's Jail Guitar Doors is about Wayne for those who don't know him, well at least the first verse is.

Wayne is one of the coolest and smartest people Rock N Roll ever spit out. Took him a long time to accept that and find his place but he is killing it these days. I would love to be able to sit down with him and talk music, life and whatnot.

If you don't know who the MC5 were do yourself a huge favor and spend a few minutes to find out about them. Even if you don't dig their music you can't help but be amazed at their story. Lemmy thinks they're God fwiw.

Fender has a Wayne Kramer sig model? Saw the MC5 a few times in their peak (late '60's) and I would never have thought any company would be associated with that group. They were a wild bunch of boys. Hats off to Fender.
