Talking .. gotta try the a2 pro.. can't stand the curiosity any more

I just ordered a pair of pickups: A2 Pro bridge zebra and 59n rev zebra.
I always seem to go back to the 59n, and this time I got one to match the bridge pickup.. lookswise haha I am sure that they will look cool in my Les Paul. This will mean that I have to pull out my Seth Lover but my life wont be complete until I have tried the A2 Pro in the bridge.. we'll see how long it lasts.. until I installed the Seth Lover, I was swapping pickups every 3 weeks or so

Who has the A2 Pro bridge?? I know (I know) Slash uses it
Any clips, comments? I have owned most of the Duncan buckers, little buckers, stacks, and several custom shop pickups.. but never the A2 Pro.

I have an Epi Les Paul with the 59n and APHb. Right now its my favorite combo in a Les Paul type axe. I think you'll like it. I may change the magnet in the 59n to an A2. So I can get rid of a little mud or I may just get an APHn
Anyway I think its a great all around combo

Stevo, I am sure you will like the A2 in the bridge, but, IMO, it sounds better in the neck position. In the bridge, it does that PAF thing-not that much push in the mids, but warm and rounded. In the neck position, it just sings and sustains like crazy.

Darn it Hacker! I am on the borderline of getting the neck version too! You are not helping matters haha. I can still use another neck pickup.. hmm
With humbuckers, I seem to like a2 in the bridge and a5 in the neck. I like the glass and bite of the a5, and the character/mids of the a2.

Thanks for your input guys. I will certainly have clips of this combo after I install....

    A2P huh?

Under gain I say somewehre between VH and Schenker. I just popped in the EVH in place of my A2P and it is a bit brighter. The A2P is a warm, articulate pickup, absolutely one of alltime favs. I've wanted to try the EVH for quite a while to give a bit more edge to the A2P which it certainly does.

The A2Pb/59n is a cool combo, an A2P set is great too. I amsure you'll like it a lot and pull some great tones out. The A2P neck really makes a nice jazz pup too.

I'm about to try an Alnico II pro in the neck and a CC in the bridge...I like having a kick ass bridge pup sometimes, and ove the past several weeks I haven't been able to get enough Alnico II in my diet...

The alnico 2 pro neck bucker is an awesome neck pup, very sweet and clear and smooth thats neva coming out of my guitar. It has a sort of vocal quality that I really like.

I love both the neck and bridge versions. The bridge sounds great on its own but, add a little of the tone knob in the mix and Damn!!!! it sounds sweet.

My a2p bridge is a great pup. It really gives me a great thick bridge paf (kinda) sound. I say kinda b/c I like lots of mids but with this pup I can actually back them down on the amp and let the pup do the work and it is unlike any other paf pup I've played or heard.
