I can tell you that IT IS NOT just a JB woth a A2 magnet that would have been great but simply is NOT the case here.
Good info! Thanks! I figured it wasnt just an A2 JB.. I do have an A2Jb in my Charvel model 4 and like it.. Had a JB8 in a guitar once too..

Im looking for something different and "special" for one last upgrade. Not really wanting to pay that kinda scratch for one tho.. But if its really unique, I might.

    Zakk,
GLad to hear that.. What makes it stand out and/or can you compare it to something else?

    Thanks
Believe me when I say that some of the most amazing music in history was made on equipment that's not as good as what you own right now.

I dig it, too. Sorry it took me awhile to post. I bought it last summer, but didn't get in the guitar until around Christmas.

I may try to record something when I get some time over President's (Washington Birthday) weekend. I've also got my new head coming next week, but I've got Army training for most of the week.

I put it in this Warmoth build. Took it to Phil Jacoby in Baltimore to do fret leveling, etc. He did an awesome job.

I haven't swapped magnets in a JB to an A2; so, I can't tell you if it is worth the price for a custom shop. However, I definitely like it better than a stock JB. Plus, knowing it was signed by Warren is totally cool in and of itself. Invasion of Privacy in 1985, with Bon Jovi opening, was my first real rock concert. So, I've always been a huge fan.
