    Default NBD (new bass day)

    For the record, I am not the one who got the bass. A friend did, but I got to play it. It is a jay turser JTB-1004, in all natural finish, and the previous owner had a coil splitting capability put in. It sounds great, far better than another friends fender (not squier) bass. The pickups are active and sound great. All in all, her first bass is a winner.

    NBD by proxy? Is this allowed? Does this mean that I could post photographs of, say, Left_Hand_Strat's next guitar or the new pickups on Kam's Westone or, for that matter, Astrozombie's next hot girlfriend?

    I suggest that the true owner of the new bass guitar should be recruited to this forum ASAP.
