I asked Duncan, but they said they didn't have the numbers.

666..cause it sounds bad as hell! Really, mine is scorching hot.
Id say the bass and low mids are big and clear, and fairly taught, but have some roundness and organic bloom. The mids are laid back compared to a JB, but they arent weak or thin..just right , and the treble is sweet and has some edge and crispness, but doesnt get strident. Not sure, but thats a really really amateur take on my description of my Crazy 8 I had in my SG.
DESTINY AWAITS. NOW A LEGACY SHALL BE REVALATED; A DYNASTY
INAGURATED !
So if we start with the JB EQ, add bass and reduce mids we get 6/5/8?

i think its pretty full and fat. I wouldnt say scooped at all..
Check this thread for some comparison info tween the C8, crazy 8 and and alt8

Believe me when I say that some of the most amazing music in history was made on equipment that's not as good as what you own right now.

I guess you'd have to ask these guys maybe.Imagine if you and your buddies got together and designed the perfect pickup. That's the Crazy 8. It was designed by the tone freaks on the Seymour Duncan User Group Forum in 2007. The result is a high-output, high-energy rock pickup built with the patented Parallel Axis bobbins for better sustain. It's our first pickup ever to use an Alnico 8 magnet. Recommended for bridge position.

Crazy 8 sounds great. Thanks.
So does that put it at 6/6/8?
