Should I get an Xbox 360?

I haven't owned a game system in 4 years but the 4GB Xbox looks tempting at $150 new. I know it doesn't hold a lot of stuff but I am only a casual gamer and probably wouldn't have more than 5-6 games on it at a time.

But there are only a few games I want to play... maybe more in the future.... Is it worth it? I could always spend my money on other stuff...

I like the product.

The online gaming is superb. I hate that microsoft used the general product to troubleshoot their product though in the beginning stages with the old school gray one but they attempted to fix their poor planning with free repairs and replacements.

You can get xbox live cards for a year for 49ish bucks on amazon. You'd have to be a retard to be charged 120 dollars a year for Xbox live. (bones) So don't let a redneck from Georgia's poor math change your decision. I use Christmas money get them. Maybe he uses his money on bullets and condoms since he gets all these "slampieces"

I recommend saving up for the xbox with the bigger hard drive however; I think you can use any external drive (USB) with the new xboxes. I don't know for sure.

I only find PS3's to be good if you want a Blueray player and want a better controller for fighting games. Infamous is one of the few titles only on PS3 that I'd want. Also they have FFIX on the marketplace or whatever it's called.

I still haven't gotten any of the new gens. (still rockin' my NES, Genesis and PS2) But there's a few games that have or are coming out that are literally forcing me into getting a PS3.

I'm not really interested in Xbox live.... I'm not a big gamer. I just want to get a few games to play when I'm bored... and my old Xbox used to do the trick. The last Halo game I played was 2. Now there is Reach? What's that about?

The first few mission play like a freaking movie. Love it.

Bigger hard drive is where it's at. Then you can install games to the hard drive and the XBox is almost silent instead of constantly reading the disc. 4GB drive wouldn't hold a single game. It'd just hold your saved games, and maybe music you ripped to the drive. (Which is also a waste. Just put MP3s onto a USB stick.)

I picked up a 250GB 7200 RPM XBox drive from E-Bay pretty cheap, so get the cheapest 360 you can and then get that drive. (The stock XBox 250GB drive was 5400RPM.)
