Default Need Help With Buzzing Issue

I have an Epiphone Dot Studio that has some annoying buzzing.
When connected to the amp, the buzz is pretty overwhelming when it's just sitting in my arms.
It buzzes on lower volume and with my amp settings low. I believe it is a grounding issue but I am not 100% sure. I noticed that when I touch the ring around the neck pickup, the buzzing stops and I get my nice clean sound. I had some upgrades done to it (pickups, wiring, pots, jack) and It still has the buzz. Any suggestions? Would copper taping help?

Here is a little more info in case it may help

    Guitar
    Epiphone Dot Studio
    Alpha 500k pots
    Seymour Duncan Jazz/Custom 5 pickups
    Shielded Wiring
    BCS Roller Bridge
    Bigsby B700

    Amp
    Fender Mustang I
    Planet Waves Guitar Cable

Thank you for reading this and any help that is given.

Did the guitar have this issue before the wiring upgrades???

It sounds like grounding is the problem, but you might want to check things like other guitars or leads, or plugging the amp into sockets around the house/friend's houses etc to see if there is interference all the time or just with that guitar.

    Welcome to the forum.

So far, you have assumed that the buzz is caused by something in the guitar. Have you tried a different guitar through your normal amplification?

About a month ago, I deal that I did went bad because the active pickups in a guitar that sounded good through my gear were buzzing like crazy through the purchaser's Line6 POD XT. I suspect his domestic electricity supply was responsible.

If you can make the buzzing go away by touching something then its earthing fo sho. Check all the connections and pickup covers, and make sure the wire from your strings/bridge is earthed also.
Perhaps the easiest way is to download a wiring diagram from the support section of the SD website and go from there.

After talking with a tech, his thought is that when I had my Bigsby installed that the ground wire was not properly set up and that that is causing my buzzing issues. Forgot to include the Bigsby in my original post and description. I appreciate the help and quick responses.
