    The 496R/500T pup combo really make this Lester growl with authority. If I close my eyes, I hear a near clone to my old '80 blonde e/2 Explorer

    The one piece neck is beyond great, 60s profile, fast as greased chicken****

    Did someone put covers on the 496/500? cos they certainly never come that way, nor stock on Standards-only the 1960 Classic. You sure they are not the 498/490?

    BTW- great plaintop, and great wine red too. Love 'em both. Congrats,.
