    Joe,
You ever try a C5/59b hybrid?? I'll bet that sounds killer. I like the 59b in the neck pos, but like more sizzle for the bridge and Id worry a c5 would be way too much for neck pos.
Believe me when I say that some of the most amazing music in history was made on equipment that's not as good as what you own right now.

    Try harder.

Bill Steer is playing an LP Jr with a P90 here:

"Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished." Isaiah 13:16

"Kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves." Numbers 31:17-18

    For a single-coil I'd have to go with a P-90.

For a humbucker, part of me wants to say Brobucker and part of me wants to say Screamin' Demon. How about a hybrid of the two? (Brobucker screw coil and Demon hex coil - with full strength A5). Wire it in parallel in the neck, series in the bridge.

JB, because I can work with it in the bridge of most axes, love it at the neck of even more, and can split it for very convincing single coil tones at both positions.

If splitting, phasing and funky wiring aren´t allowed, Ant' Surfers for SC guitars and Antiquity II´s for Humbuckers.
