I got a chihuahua named Ginger that is 18 and deaf as a hammer. She sleeps alot, will play about 10 minutes and eats and sh!ts and that's about it. She used to be afraid of thunder but now she cant hear it so she's cool. She won't be around much longer. I get tickled, when the other dogs bark, she starts barking too, but always in the wrong direction.

I have 4 Dachsunds. They are my burglar alarm. They can hear and start barking if someone turns on the gravel drive which is about 2100 feet from the house to the road. I have no idea how they can hear it inside.
