Alright, I know you feed the strings in from the top, they wraparound the bar then pass over the saddles...

But...could you feed the strings from a Bigsby through the holes in the 455 backwards then over the saddles using the bar in the 455 to get a good breakover angle or is it going to be too steep causing lots of string breakage??

I'm not sure that would work. They require the pull of the strings to keep them on the studs.

anything you can't do on a Les Paul is because you haven't practiced enough or you don't rock hard enough.

That would mean a lot of friction surfaces along the string path.

If you already have a Bigsby style vibrato tailpiece, some sort of hybrid Tun-o-Matic with roller saddles would be a better bet. (Think Gretsch.) The Schaller 1266 is one obvious candidate.

Nope...you can use a wraparound and a Bigsby...even Gibson used wraparounds and Maestros for years on some guitars...still do, the string tension will hold it on.

    Thats my fear but the 1266 won't work...I don't have a tune-o-Matic, I have a wraparound...
