1. cusses and yells at her. he talks to her like she's some slave or something. not my ****ing mom. no way.
2. expects her to do **** for him. (We're ****ing letting him stay here for chrissakes, his family is practically part of ours.)
3. talks about her in very degrading terms. ("fat white b-tch" "c-nt")
4. makes sex jokes about her.

Little more background:

I've the known the guy for a while. I used to play football with him. Over the past year, we've been helping his family, since their house got foreclosed on. The mom works several jobs and is an impeccably nice lady. His sister is of a pretty nice demeanor, we're like awkward siblings now. For the past few days, we've been letting him crash at our house, since the place they were trying to rent had psychotic folks in control. In this time period, I've become pretty pissed off at him. He's always instigating crap with my mom because he's a self-centered asshead who whines about everyeffingthing. Among the victims of his lousiness is my mother. She doesn't deserve that. I love my mom, and he's not only hurting my mom, but my two little sisters as well. I have a lot of patience, but it's starting to run thin. I'm not sure if I want to confront him, because I fear that will involve me confronting him with a baseball bat to his thick skull, and that gets me bad places. So I'm trying to vent a bit.

Wait until next time he does it and then talk to him first in no uncertain terms. Make sure you know exactly what you want to say beforhand, make sure you have thought it through, then let him have it.
Worry about the baseball bat later. See how he takes a bit of his own medicine first. His behaviour is totally unacceptable.
Make sure there are other people (i.e. your mom, and possibly a friend or two) around when you do this in case it comes to blows. That way you will have witnesses who will back you up.
