Hello Duncanites, Ive been a long time fan of this forum but only reciently have I decided to join. I have been intrigued by the Hybrid Idea and recently set out on to accomplish the task with the hunbuckers that i had around the house, a custom custom and a JB. So I made the hybrid using the slug coil from the custom and the mag and screw from the Jb. I put the pickup in my Warrior and had mixed feelings about it. It was very dynamic, lots of harmonics totally a killer pickup, it was the best the warrior had souned but had way to much treble. Also i was playing though my Line 6 spider II 2x12 not my Engl but I expect the results to be the same. So I was thinking about either trying a 250K volume pot or a mag Swap. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
